LOU HIGGINS
Lou Higgins was raised in New England, practiced law for years in the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York, and now lives in Florida when he’s not traveling the world and writing about it.
Whiskey Bend, Part One: The War is the first of four books in the saga. The storyline follows the life and times of Rudy Richter, Civil War hero, timber baron, and empire builder, as he matures and moves through Reconstruction, the excesses of the Gilded Age, and into the engineering wonders of the early 20th Century. Along the way, you’ll meet such legends as Colonel Chamberlain of Maine, J.P. Morgan, and Teddy Roosevelt, as well as scoundrels and reprobates of every description.
I think you’ll find it a fun read.
Meanwhile, be well and, as always, please stay in touch. I value your feedback as well, so don’t be shy. —Lou
